 Great socks, very durable.May 03, 2010
I bought these socks in black with white stripes a few months ago, along with the order, I bought a pair of Leg Avenue Lycra Acrylic Rainbow Striped Thigh Highs (rainbow thigh highs.) The Rainbow ones got wholes in them the first time I wore them for more than 4 hours straight. I really loved those, so I got a second pair and they are running thin at the bottom of the sock. But these socks are a lot more durable, they are made out of a different fabric and they are way thicker, which is noticeable the first time you see them. They go up very high and I'm pretty tall myself, 5'10, and they go well up my thigh. I think my only problem is that at the very top, they start to curl down because there isn't elastic or anything there.
Over all, I completely love these socks.

I ordered a pair of these for my wife. She was very disappointed when opening the package: the material was purely synthetic and rather unpleasant to touch. The socks were also very tight and though my wife is of small size, they were uncomfortable and disturbing blood flow in the legs - therefore there was no warming effect.
Other signs of poor quality - upon opening, there were many loose strings, and the socks seemed somewhat unfinished. A cheap "Made in China" stuff, sold for about $10 , worth no more than $2.

These socks are adorable with a matching pair of gym shorts and tank top. I love the way they look, athletic and attractive. Great buy!

They are nice for the winter if you're looking for high socks. However, they slip down a bit if you walk around. They look cute and easy to care for. Just put them in the delicate laundry bag and machine wash, no need for hand wash as the instruction says.
